Daniel Ian - Southwold

At the weekend I met up with Dan over in Southwold, on the Suffolk coast. The weather was a little on the wild side, but we didn’t let it stop the fun!

We walked, and talked, took portraits of each other and our surroundings, and generally just had a lovely time in the early morning light!

It was nice to play with some different locations along the beach, focus on some details, and get some full length portraits too.

Dan had a few cameras with him, the star of the show being his Pentax 6x7, a beautiful SLR medium format film camera that I couldn’t resist getting some shots of.

Spending time with other creatives is always good for the soul. Knowing that the other person totally gets it if you have a random idea you want to try, or if the light is looking really really good!
